Choose a unique neighbourhood in Toronto

Identifying a great neighbourhood before it becomes well known can make an already solid investment even more lucrative in the long term, but spotting such opportunities can be challenging.

Let me introduce you to a number of neighbourhoods throughout the city that still offer opportunity to add value and are all unique neighbourhoods.

Here are a few examples;

Lakeshore Village, located along Lakeshore Boulevard West, between Royal York and Long Branch. Properties south of Lakeshore are near the waterfront, Many of the streets end in green patches near the lake with the Lakeshore Yacht Club, Colonel Samuel Smith Park and Waterfront Trail. While this community is evolving, many new boutiques are settling in. It has quick access by Go Train, TTC street car and Lakeshore Boulevard, just 30 minutes to Bay St. & Front St. Toronto. Detached houses are selling in the range of $400,000 - $575,000.

Dovercourt & Bloorcourt Village, located north of College St between Dufferin and Ossington just north to Dupont. You can still find some real gems here to renvovate. Semi - Detached Homes which need updating range from $450,000-$550,000. Ultra renovated homes range from $750,000 to over 1 million.

Woodbine Heights ;Danforth Avenue between Donlands and Main, north to O'Connor which, although it's home to young families with children and dogs, is anything but ordinary, It boasts a rich cultural mosaic.It  offers proximity to downtown without the gridlock, easy access to the Don Valley Parkway. A good inventory of homes range from bungalows starting at $350,000 to detached homes closer to the Danforth for $550,000 plus.

Dufferin Corridor; Condo Central is rising on Dufferin from Lawrence with the theme being Italian then travelling north along Allen Road, at Wilson and at Sheppard,  located in front of Downsview Park, they are attracting a range of first time home buyers, retirees, to  investors  and students who appreciate the close proximity to subway transit getting them to York University to the Eaton Centre quickly. Condos in this district are selling in the range of $300,000 for a smaller 2 bedroom up to $400,000 for larger 2 bedrooms and den.

I will be happy to introduce you to many unique neighbourhoods in Toronto and their future potential. Please don't hesitate to call me.
